Greetings!

This engine (and it's twin) is in a 1937 Matthews 38 Stock Cruiser. A few questions:

Is it a Chrysler M8?

Is it also known as a Chrysler Crown?

Is it made by Hecules?

Thanks for your help!

Chrysler 8

the id tag for the engine should be down where the transmission bolts on. its not a crown, crowns where 6 cylinders and thats got 8. its called a royal. its not made by herc. its made by chrysler motors, same as the car company.
