Here is a 4 Cycle Engine, more parts to come yet.
Can anyone help me with identifing what it is? It has an aluminum piston at 2 3/4" and 3 1/8" stroke and a brass rod. The end cover bolts are taped 1/2" by 12 threads per inch.front and side views

Phil,
We didn't have any real bright ideas on this one. Is the flywheel on it's way? Is there a cam inside the detachable bearing housing to run the exhaust valve? Very interesting. If anyone is able to help, it will be the guys on this site.

Blair, I have been told the flywheel is on it's way. All of the gearing is supposedly outside the housing, will post more pictures when the pieces arrive.

Hey Blair, I've discovered some new info on my mystery engine. It came out of a dory in Nova Scotia, it was cooled by a tank of fresh water (no water pump), the piston is supposed to be a Harley Davidson. The flywheel is still supposedly in transit, hopeing to see it soon.
