My husband and I moved into our house and found this motor in our garage storage. We know nothing about it and would love some info on it. Age? Is it worth anything?

to some degree location is important
it could be a $10 parts motor or a $300 fishing motor. Your not going to put junior through college though. but finding it in the garage is the right price.

What do you mean by location? We live on the Tennessee River where fishing is HUGE. We really just wanted to sell it for a decent price without giving it away.

It looks like a 1956 Evinrude Lightwin. It is three horse power and they are a nice little fishing motor for small boats. Jim

Just look up the model code on the ID plate, on the side of the transom, or on the core plug, that is on on the side of the cylinders.
As for as location goes, I have four, at around £30 a time, that's in the uk.

Hi, I have this engine to sell for a Customer who simply wishes someone to make him an offer. Would appreciate any further information about the motor and idea of its worth. Bytheway I understand that it fires.
Many thanks.
