Hi All,

Can anyone identify this two-stroke petrol engine? It's an engine from a small boat. The magneto is Swedish. Bought the engine in the Netherlands.

Thanks in advance

Jos

Hello!
It is a Fors Motor, which was begun to be manufactured in the early 1920's in Sweden.1cylindrig stroke on 2Hp with cylinder dimensions 70 * 75 mm.
The Swedish magneto "SEM" final was to be produced 1972.the stock of magnets ended in 1975 and engine production ceased, did not look promising for Forsmotorn.Men 3years later lived it up again!
They started buying magneto from The Wipac Group, Bletchley, England. That is the only significant change made in Fors The engine from the start!
It is made even more (I think) only for marine use!
