Was told this was a 7hp Acadia but looks nothing like the Acadia engines I have found photos of.

Major difference from most of the engines I have found photos of is the pushrod for the valve is on the opposite side from the flywheel.

Spark plug is on the top too.

Looking over my notes it seems that these engines were designed and mfgd by Comely Clift the founder of Clift Motor Company, by 1917 Chandlers Dunlap Company was advertising and selling the line, By late 1919 Seattle Standard Engine Company was advertising and selling the line !
Engines used Model T ford internals.
