I need a little help with this engine. Has anyone seen or worked on this type engine.. Need specs. etc. the following numbers are on the name tag 111602 and under that LF818..it is in a launch built about 1920.. but looks only about 50 yrs old (the engine). has points under flywheel...like a B & S..! |

I think this is the LF818, but I don't know the year. This is from a catalog image that I had on file.

I am planning on picking up a lauson on monday. I have wanted one ever since I rode in a boat with one at the mystic show a few years ago. |

THere is a guy here in Ct that has a ton of em. He has the boat Bill rode in. I am not sure if he even has e-mail at this time.
