I have some American Bosch MJA4 and MJA6 rotary mags that need a lot of help. These mags can be altered internally so that they can run cw or ccw. But how to fix is the problem. The solution is to have a manual I think. Anyone have one to sell or loan or ?? Thanks from Joe

there is a 1945 bosch magneto catalog that comes up for sale on ebay about once a week, has a lot of info. also, there is a guy on ebay selling copies of the manuals

Joe; Check out NBBOOKS.COM .I picked up a reprint of a 1926 text " Care and repair of magneto ignition systems" for a mere $5.00 . NBBOOKS has a myriad of retro-technical reprints and books available.

To all magneto men, from digger2, if you need magneto parts for ant mag, call 1 800 magneto for parts, you won't believe the amount of parts and good prices, ahve bought from them for years!

For what it may be worth to anyone, I'll post a plug for a friend who has a huge stock of old magnetos and parts, new & used and runs a fully equipped magneto shop, knows his stuff. Does industrial, tractor and aircraft and probably could handle marine:
