New here looking for information on a JXDM engine # 1760132. I have been told that the 'M' stands for marine. but engine was out of a loader. My problem is in order to run engine it needs a distributor cap but caps aren't tall enough that the parts supplier says should fit. Delco Remy Distributor number is 1111807- 6A16
Points line up with cam on shaft but rotor sits too high for caps numbers RR142 ,RR95
Any information might help The Dishwasher

Well do you have the piece that goes between the cap and distributor. There is a part that divides the point area from the high voltage upper part. This part gets misplaced and there is NO way to fit a cap on there with out it.Its sort of a disc with a hole for the roter in it. Don't ask how i know this.
