Could not find any information on Maximus Timers. Thought I would post a couple of photo's looks to be for 3 cylinder.

Looks like they made a lot of stuff from timers to radios to golf clubs and who knows what else.

from this older post seems Crouse-Hinds was the OEM timer on the syracuse 3 Cylinder !

The Maximus would probably work very well with a bit of fitting ?

Eric if you would be willing to sell the timer- send me an email, I'm out of town right now but getting on line at the local library every couple of days.
