I have just received an Evinrude 2 cyl. inboard engine [serial no. DD66386 from mid 20's I think].The magneto ignition system is missing. I have the flywheel, with magnets, and the magneto plate, with a set of points, but no coils or condensers. Anyone have the missing parts?
I think I have read somewhere that this engine uses the same ignition parts as some of the old Evinrude 2 cylinder outboards. Can anyone advise if this is correct and what models would have compatable parts?
Thanks, Arthur Donaghy

Try a 1926 Evinrude model N. There are quite a few scrap parts only model N's around at various boat and major outboard meets.

Steve Fox,
Sorry for the delay in responding to your reply (Holiday Guests}. Thanks for the information.
Can you advise if the 1926 Model N mag had one (double) or two coils?
Arthur
