This is a picture of 1 of 3 Palmer launches (yes, launches that were made by Palmer Bros) that used to frequent our lake. My father burned one of them when I was a kid, and dumped the engine in the lake. One has disappeared and I can't track down the owner. The third one, in this picture was rebuilt by my uncle about 10 years ago. As near as we can tell, it dates from about 1908.

I also have a movie, with sound if any one is interested and can find a place to post it (~28 mb).

Ken,
You can send me the video and I will get Andrew to post it on here.
Andrew you can do that?
Does the engine have a tag on it? IF so the last 2 numbers of the SN are the year.
I am sure Dick Day would love to add your SN (if you have one) to his list.
Nice to see these boats that have been restored and are still in use.

In case anyone had trouble viewing Ken's photo at the link above (it's very large), I have copied it here. I hope that's okay with you Ken. Great looking boat!
