Charlie Hankins from Lavalette NJ was making these into the 1980's as life guard boats. See him make one: www.folkstreams.net/film,41

That is a great ad for Keller, I have never heard of him before, and that is the oldest ad for Banfield that I have seen yet. My interest is in boats built on the Jersey shore (I have info on most of the builders from Manasquan to Morgan. Thanks!!

Richard,
The first post in this thread is an ad from a 1913 magazine. Which magazine and month? Thanks.
