Hello-
I have a Palmer P-60 27HP gas engine currently in my Islander 30MKII. When I purchased the Boat she had a two bladed bronze prop 12x7. The fellas at the yard where I was doing bottom paint and new cutlass suggested I go to a CDI HP fixed 2 bladed polyutherane prop 12x10. This was in 2002 and I need to purchase new one. I was able to squeeze 4.5-5kn out of a her even with occasional care to engine. I really want to focus on trying to get her back up too 22hp@3000rpm. Has anyone run 12x8? Or is the 12x10 CDI what I need? Thanks,
Mike McMahon
