Does anyone have piston rings for the MD1B? they are larger than the MD1 (about 3.1/2") The part number is 875498. I am also looking for shell bearings which are the same as the MD1 part number 875491. I am stripping two engines down to make one good one and really need these parts urgently. At Keyparts they are very expensive, you could buy four sets of rings for a quarter of the price if it were a car. Please help, Many thanks

hi darelliano, they are quite hard to find but occasionally come up on ebay. If you get one be sure to match it up with the correct regulator. Don't buy them off ebay as they are too expensive, get a local auto electrician to get you a solid state one which will only cost about 30. they work great, I know, I have one on my boat, that is when I can get some rings to finish the overhaul of my engine.. regards Eric

I need piston rings for an old MD1, 3.1/4 inch piston. Does anyone know if rings for a car engine of this size would work?
