Anyone heard of a scriggs inboard engine, built in early 1900's with 892 cu in. block. It has 4 spark plugs / cylinder and 6 cylinders. Each cylinder is approx. 6 in. dia.

Hi Senior member Richard Durgee

Can You help me in Scripps-questions. I have small special high speed engine 4-60 in my 50th mahogany boat. I seems that engine is manufacturer by Hercules motor engine, but Scripps have made marine-equipment. I don't have generator whit gear wheel (important missing parts no 1), manufold + carburetor (originel) is missing also and some information is needeed. Do You know any Scripps specialist ?
