Richard, Thanks for the article on Houma,La. As a kid we had a camp in Cocodrie which is 30 miles south of Houma. We spent every weekend there and did a lot of fishing and oyster harvesting from our own oyster lease. I have never seen any old marine inboards out there as I'm sure the salt water ate them up. During low tide near the camp there was a flywheel engine buried in the bank. Being young and not knowing what I was looking at I never tried to dig it up. It was for too rotten from the salt to restore. since I started collecting I have spoken to some people from down there but none seem to remember any of the old put-puts. When I get down there again I'll try to find a couple old timers I know (if they are still living)and ask them if they remember any.

Richard, Morgan City is not far from Houma, that's where the Fisherman was found buried in the bank
