Anyone know anything about the "Engine Service Company" that was located at 2505 Bellevue Ave. Detroit, Michigan? Looking through some of my old original literature I came across a eight page flyer from this company and I can not for the life of me remember where I got it but this company reproduced and sold engine parts for Ferro, Gray, Briscoe DEW, DMCSC (Sandow) and others at a reduced price. They made and sold any part you wanted for these engines including carbs, mixers, etc. I'm not sure what years they were in business but had to be the early 1900's.

Front of eight page flyer. Six pages of parts listed for Ferro,DEW,DMCSC Sandow,Gray model T,D,R & S. They also state on a few of the other pages that they also sell complete ready to run Briscoe engines and parts for them. Maybe just another Jobber shop?

Yes, I believe that is correct. The flyer explains how they purchased these four cylinder automotive engines at a very very low price because the company needed cash real bad. So they could now offer them to the public for less then half price and that the engines could be used for many different applications including Stationary & Marine use.
