I cannot locate any information about where and who made this old inboard. My son-in-law gave it to me after finding it laying in a field here in the Pacific Northwest. The piston measures about the same as a Model T. I have the engine turning and valves are free. No tags or serial number can be found. Just "Liberty Kid" cast in raised letters on the cylinder. Any information would be a great help.

The Liberty Kid Engine is of the four cycle valve in the head type with the valves operated by cams. This insures smooth, steady action. A big feature of the Liberty Kid is that it is built to take Ford parts and a regular automobile spark plug which can be purchased anywhere. This engine is made to stand hard service. It is manufactured from the very best materials that money can buy and assembled by specialists. It is designed for small craft where power, simplicity and economy of operation are de- sired.
This engine fills a real need for a dependable, powerful light-weight engine for fish skiffs, dories, and other small craft-a practical simple motor with no complicated parts.
