My Father has this old motor in his garage and he wants to know what it is . Model#AEN serial # 2418200 size 3x3 1/4 r.p.m. is empty and spec no is 87132 if anyone knows what it is we would like to know.

You have all the info right there. They were very common engines used in many differant places.The N series is newer and smaller in size than the H series.I used to have a Toro comercial mower with one on it.The aen was rated around 8 to 10 horsepower depending on age and rpm it ran.

Thanks for the info. But how can we tell what year it is?My Farher thinks it is a 48or 50. But how can we be sure? He saved it from a junk yeard about 10 years ago. he says it has compresion and spark so it should run.
