Posting this for Mike
quote:Andrew, I was hoping to post two pictures of the engine as it was loaded into my 2001 Chev 1 ton dually. I was hoping to allow viewers to guess what it is and then the next day put up a picture of the nameplate. Thanks, Mike Turner Seattle WA

Richard, You are correct! It is now back home in the Champlain Transportation Museum in Plattsburgh NY where it was built. I assume it is about a 1905 Model. The badge indicates it is a 30 HP engine. I can tell you it is big engine. It weighed a lot...look at the size of the flywheel! |

* Great looking engine, I'm sure Andrew knew what it was when he posted it, He likes those old loziers ! These engines changed a bit after 1905, the one in the above post is 1907-08 Ca . If the Museum is wanting to date it closer I can research it ! ** |
