Richard, I believe that the only two places that Lozier engines were manufactured was Toledo and Plattsburg. As we know advertising in that period tended to exagerate plant facilities. There is a limited edition hardbound book that is a history of Lozier written by a local (Lake Champlain) maritime historian (I can't remember his name at the moment). I have a copy. I will try to find it tonight and see if it says anything about the LI "plant". Much of the book is copies of ads. |

I can't find the book that I mentioned above. Most of my books are still packed away from my last move. I think it was written by "Morrison" and published by a small book store in Lake Placid New York. I wil let you know when I find it. Here is another piece of Lozier info on the Plattsburg web site. |
