Hello all, Merry xmas.
I thought you might like to look at some pics of our boat fitted with a P55. She is the 'Hanky Panky'and was the tender for Dame Joan Hammond's yacht 'Pankina' that sailed around Pittwater Sydney Australia. The Hanky Panky made of red cedar, was built in England around 1947.
She now resides in Morpeth NSW. Aust.

What's the difference between the P55 and the P5?
I thought the two cylinder version was the P55 and the single cylinder version was the P5.
Am I wrong? |

Hi Wendy, Great looking Putter. The Stuart is actually a P5.. Not the P55 which is a twin. John was right in his query.
We run a group of like minded people on Lake Macquarie and have regular runs to various areas as well as up and down the Coast. We also do a run from Raymond Terrace to Moepeth once a year. You would be most welcome to come along to any of our runs. If you like I can email you a copy of our Monthly News sheet of what is on.
Great to see another good lookning boat in the area.

Wow! Hanky Panky is a most handsome launch. I wish I knew how to save your photos to reference for ideas when installing my P5. I would hope to create such a warm and inviting launch. Thank you for sharing great pix.

Hi Wendy, Attached are a couple of photos of Hanky- Panky in her original timber colours and fitted with a Pram Cover being towed by 'Pankina' on Pittwater, Easter 1977. Not the best as the original photos are fading with age. These were passed on to me by one of our members who knows Hanky Panky and 'Pankina' and their History well.

WOW that's amazing. Thanks so much Dave and the other member for the wonderful pictures of 'Hanky Panky'. We were having a quiet beer and decided to look at the forum. We were blown away by the pictures of our little boat and the yacht 'Pankina' which we had never seen before. We'd really like to know all about the history of both vessels as we only have a sketchy history of Hanky Panky before we saved her from a sad situation at Dora Creek.
We will certainly look forward to making contact soon. Many thanks
