I have a Tuxham hot bulb engine from the 1920's on my website, and they went on to better things. You'd need to talk to someone in Europe to get more information (that's continental Europe, not the UK) Peter |

The name is from the two engineers Tuxen and Hammerich who started the factory in Copenhagen, Denmark. The engines were reliable and manufactured until well after WW2. They also made an 4-stroke diesel engine - made on license I think. |

My danish fishing vessel was built in 1917 and the Tuxham 1-cyl engine (67 hp) that was installed in the 1950:es is still there but it needs an overhaul and will hopefully run this spring or summer.
