Sad news from Bill Obier

quote:

Dear Fellow Collectors,

I was a member of your group many years ago until raising my family and working my career took the place of my hobby.

I am nearing retirement now, building a shop, and planning to rejoin your group.

Last week tragedy struck as someone drove a truck into my yard and took all of my Nadler/Lockwood Ash engines and parts. I have been collecting these since I was ten years old. I had one complete, running 4 horse plus several partially assembled 8 horses and enough parts to build at least six 8 horses and one more 4 horse. I have long had plans to build boats for my grand-children to play in just as I did.

These crooks took off with part of my life.

If you are unable to help me find my treasures, please at least be warned that this could happen to you. This must have been someone who showed an interest in what I had and that I actually showed around.

THANKS

Bill Obier

I live in Rosedale, Louisiana.

Not sure how to post

THANKS

Bill
