HELP can anyone help me . I am restoring a BLAXLAND TWIN inboard motor and believe that they also made a three speed gear box for the same engine( FRWD Neutral REV)Can anyone assist me in the whereabouts of such a box ar is there another one that will fit .

Quinton, I trust that you know the Blaxlands can run in either direction (though you normally have to hold the clutch forward when running in reverse). About 20+ years ago I had one of those gearboxes that was fitted to a twin. I found it a tad noisy and to some extend it seemed to drain some of the power from the twin. Good tuning and a flick of the magneto just at about stall speed and you'll be going backwards... do not try it when approaching a rock wall or jetty flat out. Regards Laurie
