Someone from Germany contacted me wanting to know the original color of his Gray Marine Phantom 135 6 cylinder engine. 1940's to 1950's... Does anyone know the original color of those engines?

Gil Plumb just told me it was a "light green with some blue in it"...

Any other imput would still be appreciated.

The original color was "Phantom Green". It is as described above, Green with a tinge of blue.

Have a Phantom 4-45 and the original color is medium gray and it is original and only one coat.

My Phantom Four 75 is also gray with a hint of blue and it is the original paint.
