My 327 fireball has been in storage for 15 years, under a tarp. I plan to use it in my 61 Century Sabre, so I'm going to remove plugs and spray light oil in each cylinder for a few weeks before manually rotating the crankshaft very carefully. Any other precautions? It is on blocks, so I can drop the pan to change the oil. After that do I need to hand spin the distributor to prime? I'll remove valve covers and lubricate everything from the top as well. I'll change the trans fluid as well.
