Here is one of the two most interesting boat from the Clayton, NY boat show. Note that the information placard says the boat was built in 1897 with the Racine engine. It has an ignitor system so that is right for that time but the boat is incredibly well preserved.
Note the cast iron propeller.

Bob, not only is it ignitor, it's piston trip ignitor. Jamie and Keith Billet have one like this, Jamie is bringing his to Mystic. |
