Here are a couple of pages that I just scanned from the Practical Gas & Oil Engine Hand-book (1905). The two-cylinder appears to be the same photo used in the ad shown on Lozier page of this site. Is the single a Lozier as well? Early ignition.

Wow Richard.
Almost 3 years later. I can't remember what I was looking for as I go from one room to the next.

What year is the Fairfield ad?

Fairfield made Three Engines

1. The Bull Pup,the engine on the left side of ad.

2. The Fairfield,

3.The Park City Auto Marine, No Photo.

The ad was 1906

No memory here either, I Keep a list of any unknown engine that I come across and revue it regularly. I have a few other unknowns in the list with your name on them !
I'll keep looking !

Lozier sold boats as well as engines. Does anyone have advertisements or literature on Lozier launches for the early one cylinder motors? Lozier family launch?
