This is what the plaque says on it. This is all I know. The guys dad had it running great, but he doesn't have a clue how to get it running and neither do I. Any help would be appreciated. It has good compression, and looks to be all there. There is a box with a few small things, and another line (oil) I think.

Style. 10L No. 12
Canastota, NY USA

Thanks, Spencer

Spencer,
I have the remains of a 3 cylinder 9hp. All I have is the front cylinder and the flywheel is 11 inches. Going by that I would assume that yours is 3 hp.
If you use the search field at the top there is quite a bit of Tuttle info here on OME
Hope this helps
Ernie

It's a 2HP with the "L" designation and 11 inch flywheel. Rated at 1000 RPM and weighs in at around 70 pounds. They used two of these to produce the 4hp "L" designated twin also with the 11 inch flywheel.Sure wish I owned it-Just what I need for my Tuttle 15' fishing skiff.
