Here are some pics from Jim Scott up in Canada of a real neat engine with reverse gear.
He found it in a farmers field.
The engine has no tag so maybe collectivly we can assist him with an actual ID.
I told him it was most likely a Kingfisher/Arrow/Dispro/Waterman and or many more.
I have also asked Jim for a pic of the flywheel face and its dimensions as it looks small.

Thanks to Ernie for posting my newly aquired project. The engine is complete, the only thing that conserns me is the fly wheel,it`s made out of tube steel and flat plate. Not much waight to keep her going at slower speeds. The fly wheel is 9 1/2 x 2 3/8 wide, with a 7/8`s shaft. It`s going to be a great winter project

Here are more pics of Jim's engine. As to the flywheel whomever made it sure did a neat job. I wouldn't have a problem trying to run it as it is. I wonder if the partially drilled holes were from having it balanced?

quote from Jim on the flywheel dimensions.

"Now to the flywheel, it is fabricated out of steel tube and plate. The shaft size is 7/8`s outside diameter is 9 1/2 and width is 2 7/8 inches. On the outside of the rim there are 5 holes drilled half way in to the metal, but not thru, blind holes. Like they would be used to attach a cover to give a grip surface so the engine could be kick started with a rubber boot. That was a fishermans trick. I sure would like to get a possitive ID on this engine. And the other thing that would be nice is to find a copy of a manual. I could do a tear down and figure it out, but a little info first is better."
