What a great old photo !!
I list these Old Marine Engine Companies in a data base but photos like this add another dimension to their history.
First trip from Florida to the Mystic Seaport show several yrs ago I took I-95 and crossed over the Harlem river just south of the washington Bridge right about where this photo was taken and never knew that Those engine Co's. occupied that river front area in Morris Heights ? THANKS for the post.
