New Here and have an engine I cannot identify. I see no stampings or data plates.

I was working to get the buzz coils to work but i think they are NG. And I'll test them later.
Disassemble the gen it needs brushes and i haad to take tome to get the cut in coil to work at 6vdc.
Put a car coil on and got spark be it for one cyle at a time. With a squirt of mix in the plug how the 7com plugs i found on my parts oile got smoke from both cylinders.
I have be turning this by hand for ignition setup but it has been driving the 620 Gray Marine trans too.
So i opened the trans and found the slider stuck and with some persuasion was able to free it and get f n r . So thats cool.
Then u removed the trans and was able to pull the cocofany of pulleys off the crank.
Have you ever seen any thing like this on a drive end?
Anyway thats where I am At.
Any advice or suggestions will be ignored!!!

All looks good except rust hole in the #2 cylinder at the lower compression rings.
Not sure what I'll do about that.
Ant advice is welcome.
Also since I'm this far in ill finish it the paint
what were the colors of this style engine.
And can it be dated by the pics.and should i keep the generator aand buzzcoils and get that to work or just g with the auto coils i was able to use?
