Attached are a couple of photos of a HLF Trebert Barrel engine. These are from the NASM. Is that a marine drive on the engine?
Trebert did build Automotive, marine and aircraft engines.

In all of the literature I've looked through never saw or heard mention of this engine ! Great work finding it !
Looks like a reverse gear with shift lever to me.
Does the chain drive go to a starter ? Hard to flip the flywheel on this one !!

I will be adding more Trebert info to my site soon. If anyone wants more info, send me an email.
