I have a 1961 Owens flagship twin 283's that I am trying to get operational, can anyone tell me the rotation of the engines.

First, do your engines have direct drive or V-drive? If they are direct drive, then look and see which direction the propeller turns when in forward. That will determine the direction of rotation. If a propeller turns clockwise in forward gera, then the engine is a right hand rotation. If it turn counter-clockwise, then it is a left hand rotation engine. IF the the engines are v-drive then a clockwise rotating prop is a left hand engine and a counter-clockwise prop is a right hand rotation.
Hope this helps out.
