hi, can anyone please tell me what pressure cap i should have on a bmc 1500 diesel heat exchanger ? thanks in advance......jim

Hi I removed a BMC 1500 from a keel cooled narrow boat and it had a 4lbs cap on it, but I fitted it in to a fishing boat with the normal heat exchanger system and replaced the 4lbs cap with a 7lbs cap as you need slightly more pressure with the tube stick installed, and it ran fine until I sold it 5 years later.
