Hello. New boy to this forum and looking for some advice and a little help.
I have a dutch barge, 20 meters long. It has a BMC 'Commodore', well thats what it says on the exhaust manifold. Large, blue, 1970's(?) technology. Seems to run as sweet as a nut.
I need to service it fully to give it a fighting chance. Is there any information out there on these lumps? Manuals, places/people to contact/spares suppliers?
What is its hp? I think, from the engine no. it is the 3.8 version.
The engine number is 38P/AC/D23683
Any information MOST valuable and appreciated! Cheers.
