I have this 10bhp Widdop diesel that is in need of an injector.
Any information on this engine or type of injector will be a great help.

Some later Widdops used, as far as I know, fairly standard CAV type injectors, but I'm afraid I can offer no more than that. Someone with a CAV applications list from the 1950's might be able to help, but you would probably need an engine model number.
Widdops were built in Keighley, West Yorkshire, and despite being apparently very well engineered they seem to have all but disapeared.
I believe they were absorbed into British Polar, who still exist in Glasgow. I suppose there's an outside chance that they would be able to dig out some info for you.
I would love to get hold of a slightly larger model, single or twin around 20 to 30 hp.

I do not know what the model is.
I attached a photo of the name plate along with a drawing of the injector hole.
I am missing parts and have never seen a completed engine to know what might be missing.
I am missing an injector and lines, the compression relief on the side is broken off, I have no idea what would have been over the hot bulb.
