Hello all,

Has anybody out there got any info on DV10 Alternators. possible schematic diags. etc. My own alternator here has no label so not sure which model it is. Only hint is the rectifier plate, which on the one here is fin cooled but I've seen a picture of a different type with a sandwitch plate type arrangement rectifier. I have a Bukh Part No.for the second one but has anybody got anything that might be of some help on the other type whatever it may be and could be emailed to me here ?

Regards - Pat.

Pat,

We sell a manual for the DV10 on the marineengine.com site.

It shows the following for alternators on the DV10:

  • serial no 89157 - 203611 used S.E.V. Marchal H. 14/30
  • serial no 203612 - up used S.E.V Marchal 14/35A

The manual shows an exploded view of the Alternator, as well as schematics, testing, troubleshooting, etc.

Thanks for that Andrew.

Gives me somewhere to start looking and a nice bit of information at the same time.

Regards - Pat
