The improments to rt 2 and 4 are completed. The rt 5 bypass of hughsville is open, but they are still working on it. The speed limit is 40 in the construction zone and today they had radar there. The one problem spot could be rt 234.They are putting a traffic circle at chaptico. Today they had an excavator sitting in the midddle of 234 and single tracking traffic on the shoulder. In the middle of the day the wait was short. If you want you can turn left on rt 236 or mechanicksville rd and drive to rt 5 turn right till rt 235 where you go strait and this will take you to rt 4 and a left puts on the way to solomons. I see this spot all the time and can post later if backups get bad.

I have been watching 234 in chaptico and they only work during the day on weekdays. So if your comeing through late friday or sat. or sun. there is no need to detour.
