I am working on a 1964 lyman 28' with twin 327's but one engine is not original one is bluish, the other is kind of orange, what color are they supposed to be?

From what I remember the Graymarine 327s from that vintage were close to IHC tractor red.
Key word being remember.

What i see in my trucks is if its a 327 from chevy its red, if its a 327 from gmc its light blue. When my father ordered a short block from the chevy dealer we ended up with both on the same engine.

These Grays were most likely 327 Rambler engines.
Shawn do yours look like this one? There were several different styles of manifolds and carbs
