Restoring a 1932 Pierce-Arrow boat that came with a Gray Marine 49A coupled to a bronze Riley outdrive. Unfortantly the exhaust manifold, head and block are all rusted beyond repair. Rods caps indicate Hercules block. Block castings are CWC, 27100-C, and B222. The block is stamped near the head 400454 IXB. The head is stamped 27202. Carb is a Zenith stamped 8983H. Transmission looks like a standard Paragon. I could use help confirming the engine is truely an 1932 Phantom 49. Secondly looking for guidence on where I could find a similar base engine for rebuild or possibly a complete engine.
