I have a Tillotson MD 4A carb. on a 1947 Elgin (Sears 571.58621)outboard.
What is the float setting and where is it measured from?

What are the inital settings for the idle and hi-speed needle valves?

Where can I obtain a service manual for this engine (Re-print OK) ?
Thanks.
