For some reason, I couldn't log in to my account... and I can't use my name because "it too closly resembles the name of a registered user" <-- ME! but here I am anyway. haha...

I bought a Ferro Type 7 Outboard a couple years ago. It's only the powerhead, and I'm just going to use it as a stationary engine that only runs for the sake of spinning a waterpump through a radiator system to keep itself cool. The carb that's on it isn't original, and it's too trashed to use or even rebuild. I'd like to get a brand new, interesting looking if possible, carb for it keeping under $50. Any ideas for me? I can build an intake manifold for it, so I'm not worried about it being "bolt-on".
I see these on ebay (link below), and I like how they look, they're "new", and somebody tells me they're military multi-fuel rated.

Whould the above carb probably work for me? Any other ideas?

Thanks!

Well, I bought one... We'll see if/how it works. I'll check back in with my results.
