First i found float was a bit too large which caused occasional sticking Talked to a guy who had done a lot or Kingston repair hard to determine correct float level I will have to make a fixture and fill with fuel which should be 1/8" above hole in a assembly tube hence the fixture will post pictures if it works engine sounds like rich then lean

My friend Jim uses a u shaped clear tube on Model A carbs. Hook it to the bottom and run it up the side, you can see the actual float level in place.

My fixture allows me to see and adjust float level but still no joy. Engine when primed will run for about 5 sec and quit very consistent and repeatable. I talked to Bob Skinner who said to look at float needle shape or angle.I found it to be about 15 degree and changed to 20 degree as he suggested no luck yet. The reason He thought it might be a little narrow I have had the motor running when the needle is open 2.5 or 3 turns.

The second picture shows gas in tube which surrounds the needle valve with the gas slightly below the top I adjusted the float level up a bit and moved the gas up to the top of the tube.

Still no joy---- engine quits after 5 sec or so
