In a reent item in the Stuart Turner section, there was a discussion about a siezed engine that was traced to alcohlized gasoline.
I recently saw a note on a small 2 cycle air cooled engine ( Homelite) that gasohol was NOT to be used.

Anyone have any experience with the stuff? I try to use gasohol in my car, but stick to plain gasoline/oil mix in my boat engines.

( martini mixtures are not part of the discussion)
