In addition to my other thread, another problem has occurred with my P6 marine engine, The cooling chanels and water pump have oily gunge in them and around the cylinder head it is baked on. I'm hoping this is because the engine has been running in water contaminated with oil, does anyone have any other suggestions? I have cleaned the passages out and water now flows freely. When I get the engine running I plan to flush the system out with a car flushing product.

Regards
Robin
