Can anyone help me with information/diagram of how the dynastart fits to the engine (P5) and advise whether the belt is driven from the flywheel direct, (should the flywheel have a groove or similar for the belt or does it simply run of the flat surface of the wheel ?) The engine is installed aboard my boat but the previous owner removed all the electrics and simply hooked up the coil direct to a battery for the spark. However, I would like to restore the engine to its original state so I can charge the battery etc. Thanks for your help,
Regards,
Alan.
