Hello!

I am looking into buying an old Detroit reversing gear for my launch. I am unfamiliar with their operation, but would assume they have a "neutral" setting in addition to normal ahead and astern?

Any additional information on Detroits would be appreciated. Old sales literature, schematics, manuals, installed and/or restored units, words of advice, etc.

Thanks for the help!
