Hi all, I just found this site and thought that maybe someone would be able to tell me something about an old marine engine I have. It was made by the C N CADY COMPANY. The model is 2M and the engine number is 2730. It says on the brass plate to use mobil "gargoyle" (wonderful name, huh?) oil. Thanks in advance,
Eric R Snow

Eric -

There is some information about Cady engines in the history section of this web site. In addition, Mr. Hubie Jones in Rome, NY 315/336-1314, has some information which he was kind enough to share with me. And I think Andrew Menkert also has some Cady literature.

I have a two cylinder Cady but I don't yet know the model number. It has a Schebler carburetor and I think it is about a 1905/10 model.

Cheers
